I really enjoyed the gig and had a great time. Hadn't realised that also on the bill was Zoe Keating, formerly of Rasputina, who I also love to bits. I chatted with her a little afterwards, while everyone else was queueing up to get Amanda to sign stuff.
Anyone with any taste should be listening to Who Killed Amanda Palmer, and Zoe's One Cello x 16: natoma.
Planet Karen: First Contact
The forthcoming collection will feature the first 200 Planet Karen strips, and one of my favourite writers, Gail Simone has kindly agreed to write an intro. She's currently doing a comic you may have heard of, titled Wonder Woman. It is Very Good.
Art Sale
The art sale will probably run until New Year. With almost 600 strips done now, and more being created all the time, I'm in no danger of running out anytime soon. And I fear I may have to replace my beloved MP3 player, Radio Karen in the not too distant future. It's taken to freezing up in the middle of songs for random lengths of time, and I don't think it can be fixed. If it's not one thing, it's two things.
